la maison sur la colline is situated on a hill surrounded by trees and vineyards, with fantastic views of the medieval city of Carcassonne.Truly a place of charm and authenticity.Delphine and Nicole welcome you for one night or longer, whether with family, friends, for a romantic break,a week-end away or an extended holiday.Relax by the beautiful pool, play a game of petanque(french bowls), or simply drink a glass or two of local wine as the sun sets surrounded by the sound of crickets.

Once upon a time there was a house on a hill, a hill where thyme, cypress-trees, herbs, mint and vines grow at the foot of the old fortress city of Carcassonne, seen in the background.

Delphine and Nicole,bearing in mind their childhood memories, have turned the house into a simple, comfortable, genuine home.

They warmly welcome you the moment you step into the house.

Each bedroom has a bathroom and is designed in a different spirit-each bedroom offers light and space with an atmosphere of its own.

Outdoor breakfast is served on a the terrace (weather permitting).
